Overview of Graphite Resources and Mineral Characteristics of the Typical Ore Concentration Areas of Crystalline Graphite in China

  • With the rapid development of high-tech industry, especially new energy industry, it has driven the huge demand for graphite resources, especially crystalline graphite resources. This paper summarizes the classification, metallogenic mechanism and metallogenic regularity of graphite deposits in China, gives a general overview about the survey of graphite resources in China, and contrasts the mineral characteristics of typical deposits in the ore concentration areas of crystalline graphite in China, in order to provide valuable guidance for the exploration, development and comprehensive utilization of graphite resources, especially crystalline graphite resources in the future, so as to ensure the safe supply of China's strategic key minerals and consolidate China's strategic position as a large country of graphite resources.
