Abstract:
                                      Based on the properties of Panzhihua iron concentrate, the technologies of fine-grinding and deep-processing, separation based on size fractions, separation based on multiple force fields (including JCTN RCG-DDC permanent magnetic separator, magnetic separation column and magnetic field screen) were carried out. The results show that, regardless of the magnetic separation process, Panzhihua iron concentrate grade can be improved by more than 2 percentage points and the recoveries were above 97%. The analysis of the characteristics of different magnetic separation technology can provide reference for the practice of improving iron content while decreasing impurities for Panzhihua iron concentrate.
