Abstract:
In the research, molybdenum tailings are activated through mechanical force. Then cementing materials are prepared with molybdenum tailings, clinker, gypsum and slag. The effect of mechanical activation on the property of molybdenum tailings is analyzed with XRD and SEM. The study indicates that mechanical activation can change the distribution of granularity in molybdenum tailings effectively. The 28 d-blocks prepared shows good activity, with a flexural strength and compressive strength of 10.1 MPa and 63.21 MPa respectively. The hydration products of it are mainly C-S-H gel and ettringite. The content of molybdenum tailings in the cementing materials takes 50%, and the content of solid waste 86.36%. The study provides reference for the recycling of molybdenum tailings.
