Abstract:
The SiO
2-Al
2O
3-CaO system glass-ceramics were prepared by direct sintering method with coal measure solid waste-coal gangue as the main raw material, supplemented by a certain amount of CaO. The effects of heat treatment on the physical and chemical properties of SiO
2-Al
2O
3-CaO glass-ceramics, such as phase composition, water absorption, bulk density and linear shrinkage, were discussed. The results showed that the main crystalline phase of the gangue glass-ceramics prepared at 1 280℃ for 60 min was mullite. Meanwhile, the bulk density and linear shrinkage were the largest, which were 2.155 g/cm
3 and 17.911%, respectively, and the water absorption rate was 0.302%. It provided an effective way for the utilization of coal gangue.
