Abstract: Non-metallic mineral materials with big reserves and low prices, have great application prospects in the field of mine wastewater treatment. The application properties of the ten kinds of non-metallic mineral materials such as quartz, vermiculite, kaolin, illite, rectorite, perlite, tourmaline, graphite, limestone, apatite, etc, used in mine wastewater containing H⁺, heavy metal, fluorine, organic matter, etc, are reviewed. The proposal was also put forward for development trends of non-metallic minerals materials used in mine wastewater treatment.
