Abstract:
The non-ferrous industry is the main source of arsenic pollution. The generation of arsenic-bearing solid wastes is detrimental to the environment and seriously restricts the development of this industry. Arsenic can be immobilized by traditional cement-solidification technology, but problems such as high cost and low disposal rate are usually encountered. By contrast, immobilization technology of arsenic by slag cementation have the advantages of high arsenic-immobilization efficiency and extensive applicability. This paper introduces the research progress on immobilization technology of arsenic by slag cementation, and the immobilization mechanism of arsenic by slag cementation was emphatically described. The results provide technical support and theoretical support for the promotion and application of arsenic immobilization technology of slag cementation.
