Abstract: Lithium is one of the fastest growing high-tech metals and plays an important role in emerging industries.The general situation of global lithium mineral resources and reserves distribution and industrial pattern is introduced comprehensively, and the supply status, demand forecast, new production capacity and price forecast of lithium mineral resources are analyzed.The results show that global lithium resources are rich, but the distribution is not balanced, nearly 98.43% of lithium mines in Chile, Australia, Argentina and China; The rapid development of Battery industry has stimulated the continuous growth of lithium mine demand, but more new production capacity, resulting in a short term oversupply; Future demand depends on the development demand of emerging industries; After the short-term price fluctuation, lithium price rises steadily in the future.
