Abstract:
The development of nonferrous mines is an industry with high consumption, high pollution and high emission. With driving the development of Chinese economy, it inevitably brings losses to the surrounding residents and the ecological environment. By summarizing the experience of the ecological environmental management of the nonferrous mines in some mining developed countries, like the United States, Australia, Canada and Germany, and drawing on their advanced practices in the fields of realistic foundation, governance motivation, governance mode, governance effect and assessment, some environmental problems existing in the development of Chinese nonferrous mines are analyzed. Some policy suggestions are put forward for the ecological environment governance of nonferrous mines, such as playing the role of government intervention government, encouraging technological innovation, enhancing corporate social responsibility awareness intervention and perfecting market systems and so on.
