Abstract:
The main chemical constituents, mineral composition, particle size, embedding characteristics of the raw ore were studied by means of chemical analysis, electron probe, X-ray diffraction, MLA and optical microscope to ascertain the occurrence status of a rubidium ore deposit from Shenzha County in Tibet. The results showed that rubidium is mainly present in mica with a distribution rate of 94.23%. Therefore, an excellent recovery index could be obtained only by dressing and smelting the mica minerals. The research results have important guiding significance for the smelting of rubidium ore and further development and utilization of the deposit in Shenzha County. This paper also provides significant inspiration for the study of the occurrence status of rubidium ore deposits with similar ore properties.
