Abstract:
According to the study on the technological mineralogy of a medium-high temperature fluid fissure filling metasomatic type tin-polymetallic ore from Hunan province, the mineral compositions of the ore are complex. The main valuable elements are tin and bismuth, followed by copper, fluorite and silver. The primary minerals for these elements are cassiterite, bismuthinite, chalcopyrite and isomorphism minerals in a variety of sulfide ore, respectively. Therefore, the valuable minerals are mainly cassiterite, bismuthinite and a small amount of natural bismuth, chalcopyrite, fluorite, and chalcocite, etc. Except for the fluorite, the useful minerals have fine dissemination sizes and closely symbiotic relationships, which makes the ore refractory. Based on this study, some suggestions for the utilization of this tin-polymetallic ore are put forward.
